The women was 7 monthes pregnant. They took her to Bryon Hospital but then life flighted her to Parkview Hospital where they took the baby by c section. The baby a little girl was 3 pounds 7 ounces. The baby survives but has a long road ahead of her. The mother is in serious condition with head trauma bleeding on the brain. She us fighting for her life. Her son was thrown from the buggy and landed 20 plus feet from the buggy and obtained a broken arm. the other boy was unhurt. The mother's brothers witnessed the accident and were performing car on the mother when authorities arrived. the driver of the Truck that hit them. went into the ditch and got stuck. but then got out and drove away. to my knowledge it was a silver truck with a camper in the truck bed. The Driver of the truck has still not been located. I am a close friend of the family of the Amish women. please keep them in your prayers.
