A structure fire occurred near East M36 and Hamburg Road close to a gas station in Whitmore Lake, Michigan. Firefighters worked offensively to control the fire and checked for extension areas. Heavy smoke was present. Utilities were requested to disconnect power and gas for safety. A 30-year-old male at the scene was initially unresponsive but later conscious and breathing.
