Yard waste fires reported along Highway 16

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews and officers responded to reports of large piles of yard waste burning along Highway 16. The burn at one property near the 3300 block of Highway 16 had reportedly been called in by the resident, while another nearby address may not have been reported. Responders appeared to be confirming which location was authorized and whether any additional burning was occurring in the area.
