Illegal burn extinguished by homeowner

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a report of an apparent illegal burn near Old County Road. Firefighters spoke with the homeowner, who was extinguishing the fire, and dispatch noted a dog at a nearby Old Westport Road address. Another department may have been contacted and was advised they could potentially stand down.
