Grass fire near South Platte River in Weldona

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews and mutual aid units were dispatched to a reported grass fire near a rural address on County Road 7 by the South Platte River. The fire was described as about a quarter acre in size with flames around 12 feet tall, and no nearby structures were reported to be threatened.
