As discussed during the dispatch call, dispatchers reported a possible scam in the parking lot of a discount store on South Date Street in Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. A male caller was allegedly directing an older woman in a silver car to buy a thousand-dollar gift card, and the reporting party stayed nearby to meet responding deputies.
