Fire units responded to a building near Lomita Blvd in Torrance after smoke was reported along with power outages. Crews searched the attic, roof, and interior and confirmed the presence of smoke. They checked air conditioning units on the roof, some of which were off and others still running but not tripped. Power outages in the building affected multiple areas. The smoke seemed to start after power was restored. Authorities contacted Edison to address possible electrical issues affecting this and nearby locations.
