Paint buckets spill on road near Five Star, hit pickup

An officer on scene advises that a pickup truck has been hit by the spilled paint near the hazard area. Dispatch asks whether to add this to the existing road‑hazard entry, and the officer confirms and says they will also complete a lost‑cargo report related to the semi’s dropped paint buckets.

Clarifying earlier information, a unit notes that the tractor‑trailer itself was not struck but is believed to be the source of the spilled paint. According to a caller, the vehicle was last seen pulled over near a local business and was headed toward the Beaverdam area.

Dispatch clears a unit to go to a nearby truck stop to look for a white semi‑truck with a flatbed that should still have several other gallons of paint on board. After checking with a Beaverdam building business and learning it has not received any deliveries that day, dispatch concludes the truck is likely just passing through the area rather than making a scheduled stop.

Continuing the search, an officer drives a bit farther south and sees a flatbed truck loaded with drywall and paint that appears to be heading to a residence where construction is underway. The officer notes paint all over the passenger side and rear tires of the flatbed, while dispatch confirms again that a local builder in Beaverdam has not received any deliveries and another unit suggests checking with a different building company known to use a flatbed with a lift in that area.
