Suicidal Male with Gunshot Wound at 3041 Springtime Avenue

Summary: Louisville Metro Police responded to a report of a 45-year-old Hispanic male, identified as Arturo, who allegedly shot himself at 3041 Springtime Avenue. Multiple units coordinated a tactical response, established a perimeter, and attempted to make contact with the subject, who was believed to be alone and suicidal inside a trailer. Officers heard screaming from inside and staged EMS and fire personnel nearby. A female, Isabella, exited the trailer and was interviewed at a nearby Dollar General. After a period of tactical operations and withdrawal, the scene was cleared, and the 202A mental health process was explained to the family.
