Summary: A fire alarm was activated at Lake Village Apartments, 765 Union Avenue, Laconia, New Hampshire, after a resident in apartment 510 fell asleep while cooking, causing smoke and triggering the alarm system. The alarms have since stopped, and the smoke has dissipated. Responding fire companies were notified of building flags for bedbugs and that sprinklers are present only in the hallways. The incident was brought under control and confirmed to be the result of burnt food.
