Knife Threat Incident on West Broadway Road, Suspect Fled on Bus

Summary: Mesa Police responded to a report of a male suspect threatening another male with a knife at 49 West Broadway Road, at the Savants of DePaul. The suspect, described as a 58-year-old Native male named Danny, wearing a black shirt, blue jeans, and a purple and black Diamondbacks baseball cap, fled eastbound on a city bus. Officers tracked the bus (number 6786) and later determined the suspect exited at Mesa Drive and Broadway. The suspect was last seen entering the Circle K at the northwest corner of Mesa Drive and Broadway. Police made contact with the suspect and a witness on scene. No injuries were reported.
