Search and Rescue for Injured Hiker at Timpanogos Trailhead

Summary: Multiple callers reported an 18-year-old female hiker with a dislocated knee approximately one mile up the Timpanogos (Tiffany Newkey/Tippinipi) Trailhead in Utah County. The patient's group waited at the trailhead to provide responders with information. Search and Rescue (SAR) and medics were dispatched to assist the injured hiker, who was reported to be in significant pain. Responders coordinated with the reporting parties and considered sending two medics up the trail initially, with about 30 individuals involved in the response.
