Outdoor Fire at State Route 26 and Orbed Road, Mutual Aid Requested

Summary: An outdoor fire was reported near State Route 26 and Orbed Road in the town of Philadelphia, Jefferson County, New York. Philadelphia Fire Department was activated and responded to the scene, where the fire had spread into the tree line and threatened nearby woods. Mutual aid was requested from Theresa Fire Department for additional manpower and water supply. The fire was located on or near an Amish farm, and it was noted that the fire had previously been burned but had gotten out of control. Fire attack units and tankers/UTVs were requested to assist in containing the blaze.
