Pedestrian injured after collision with pickup truck

Emergency medical staff are bringing a woman in her late 50s to mid 60s to the hospital after she was hit by a pickup truck while walking in the street at about 30 miles per hour. She did not lose consciousness but has a serious cut on her head and is reporting back and chest pain. Her breathing sounds are normal and she is wearing a neck collar. She has an intravenous line in place and is awake, alert, and expected to arrive at the hospital in about five minutes.
