Officers check on owner of expired vehicle tag

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies requested information on a vehicle and learned it was a 1998 Jeep Cherokee registered to a person at a residence near Mirror Lake Drive in Southport. An officer was sent to the home to try to contact the registered owner as part of a possible suspicious vehicle check.
