Almost the same scenario happened to my daughter and her friend about a month ago. Older white male in small black car pulled up by them and asked to use their phone to call the police. He said a female, possibly a child was screaming on Backus. When he called the police he said an African American woman was running up and down Backus with her pants down. Not sure why my daughter thought it was ok to stop and allow a stranger to use her phone😡 but the police called her number back. They were unable to find any proof of anything this guy reported.
