Outdoor gas leak after line hit while gardening

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews were dispatched to an apparent outside natural gas leak near Palmer Street in Shinglehouse after a gas line was reportedly struck during gardening, with gas heard and smelled. The gas company was reported to be on the way.
