As discussed during the dispatch call, a woman in her mid-fifties apparently fell down a steep staircase at a downtown bar in San Diego and sustained a superficial head cut and head pain. She denies losing consciousness and is showing no major trauma signs. She is being transported by Medic One to a local hospital for evaluation. Alcohol use is reported but she does not appear intoxicated. The fall involved more than ten feet down the stairs. Treatment included head bandaging and spinal motion restriction. The situation appears stable but is considered a special case due to the height of the fall.
