Woman with suspected medication overdose to hospital

Paramedics respond to a private home for a 43-year-old woman with confusion and decreased responsiveness. Her boyfriend reports he found her lying in her room about an hour and a half earlier; she was speaking but seemed off and then became mostly unresponsive, with loud, snoring breathing. She has a history of methadone use, and an empty prescription bottle of Minipress is found nearby, raising concern for a possible medication overdose. On scene she is only responsive to pain but is breathing on her own with stable vital signs. Narcan is given without effect. Because the first hospital requested no more ambulances, the crew diverts and transports her to Alvarado Hospital for further evaluation and care.
