Man treated for grease burns to face, eye, and arm

A 68-year-old man suffered grease burns to his face, right eye, and arm during a cooking accident near El Cajon. He initially treated the burns at home and visited a clinic where he received antibiotics and cream. Due to a burn on the white part of his right eye and unsafe vision, emergency services were called, and he was transported to the UCSD burn center for further treatment. His burns cover about one to two percent of his body, mainly first-degree with some second-degree burns.
