High-speed pursuit on Highway 99 near Meadowview

Officers and highway patrol units are monitoring a vehicle pursuit involving a red Chrysler on Highway 99 in the Sacramento area. The vehicle travels at high speed, over 100 miles per hour at times, changing between northbound and southbound lanes and making several exits and U-turns near Florin, La Mancha, Valley High, Mack Road, Summersdale, Cambria, and toward Meadowview. An aircraft unit is overhead, providing updates. Ground units are told not to actively chase but to stay in the area while highway patrol remains in surveillance mode.
