Scooters stolen near Downtown Commons, suspects sought

Officers and security staff are tracking a stolen scooter with a location device near Downtown Commons in Sacramento. A second scooter is also missing. One suspect is described as a male adult wearing a black t-shirt, blue pants, tan shoes, and a red backpack. He left heading north on Seventh Street on a bicycle while holding the scooter. Police are trying to locate the scooter and improve photos of the second suspect. Another part of the radio traffic mentions a separate call about a person who hopped a fence near a tattoo shop, appeared to be checking the door, and was seen with a second person near nearby tennis courts. Units are coordinating over the radio about both situations.
