Man steals shoes from store and flees in dark van

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were dispatched to a store on Rosemead Boulevard in Rosemead for a reported theft, where a man allegedly stole several pairs of athletic shoes and left in an older dark van that headed southbound on Rosemead Boulevard. The license plate was not obtained.
