Fire alarm linked to disconnected dryer vents

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire units responded to a building alarm near Colonial Drive and Parsonage Street in Rocky Hill. Crews investigated disconnected dryer vents, checked for heat and carbon monoxide, and confirmed normal readings. Fire doors that had been propped open were secured, and the fire marshal and building maintenance were notified. The alarm reportedly came from a resident rather than the panel.
