Report of child possibly being hit at home

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies conduct a welfare check at a residence near Hutton Avenue in Rifle after a reporting party said they heard what sounded like a child being hit about 30 minutes earlier. The possible physical abuse had stopped by the time of the call.
