Gas odor and minor leak at apartment building

Fire crews and an ambulance were sent to an apartment building on Lackawanna Street for a report of a gas odor in a bedroom. Residents were told to leave the apartment. Responders found only a very faint smell of gas and determined there was a slight leak on the utility company’s side of the gas meter. The gas company was notified to handle the leak. One adult woman at the scene was reported to have symptoms including vomiting, lightheadedness, and trouble breathing.
