House fire near E Highland Pl in Peoria Heights

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire and rescue units responded to a reported house fire near Highland, where smoke was seen coming from the front side of a single-story home. Multiple engines, a truck company, and a battalion chief arrived, established command, conducted a fast attack on the fire, performed searches, and handled ventilation and utilities. Radio traffic later indicated that the bulk of the fire in the front of the home was knocked down.
