As discussed during the dispatch call, officers were advised of a domestic in progress involving a maroon Ford pickup traveling northbound on IL Route 4 approaching Nilwood. The male driver was reportedly seen striking a female passenger and was unable to maintain lane, driving into oncoming traffic; the vehicle was last reported near Vernon Street and another nearby street (exact cross street unclear from audio) in/near Nilwood.
