Cooking smoke triggers condo fire alarm

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a reported burning odor and alarm activation at a multifamily condo building near West Touhy Avenue in Niles. Units investigated a unit on an upper floor and determined it was cooking smoke, with no apparent fire hazard. Some crews remained briefly to ventilate the area.
