As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a possible domestic situation at a residence near East Delta Avenue in Mesa. A male family member reportedly locked himself in a bathroom and made concerning statements. He was said to have access to firearms, though they were reportedly moved to a family member’s home months earlier and access to any safe at the residence was restricted. Other family members, including a child, were at a neighbor’s home while officers worked to resolve the situation.
