Person with mental health crisis and firearm at home

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews were sent to a residence near Fairway Drive in Mechanicville for a possible welfare check involving a person reportedly in a mental health crisis related to a court case and known to have a history of violence and access to a gun. Responding units were later told they could disregard the call.
