Large burn pile fire near RVs on Spicer Lane

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded near Marcola Road and Spicer Lane in the Mohawk Valley for reports of black smoke and a possible structure fire. Multiple callers reported anything from a fully involved or collapsed structure to a garbage pile, and one caller reported loud booms. Responders later identified a 20 by 40 burn pile with nearby RVs as the main exposure and worked to access the property.
