Missing canoeist prompts river search near Tucker Park
Tucker Park, 1300 Maidens Rd, Maidens, VA 23102 - 6/1/2026 07:53 PM
As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency crews responded to Tucker Park on Maidens Road for a reported missing canoeist. Rescue teams searched the river on both sides near Palatine and Cedar Point using GPS data that placed the individual about 100 yards downstream from the Maidens area. The person was later located near Powhatan State Park.
