Door kicked in after report of argument and screams

Officers were sent to a house near Vermont Avenue after a report that the front door had been kicked in. When police arrived, they found the door damaged but no one inside the home. A neighbor said a woman lives there with a man and a dog. The neighbor had earlier heard the woman near the front door shouting "no please don't" and heard a quieter male voice, suggesting an argument. The neighbor did not see the people involved and did not know if they left in a vehicle. Officers secured the front of the house as best they could, and no victims or suspects were found at the scene.
