Smoke and fire on 40-foot boat in waterway

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews responded to a possible engine room fire on a recreational boat in the Intracoastal Waterway near Lighthouse Marina, between East 4th and Lightkeepers. A roughly 40‑foot cruiser was reported with smoke coming from the engine area, and the two people on board were evacuated to another vessel while firefighters conducted shipboard fire suppression and managed boat traffic.
