Search for 911-only caller in Lake Village area

As discussed during the dispatch call, deputies conducted a search in the Lake Village and Schneider area for a possible 911-only caller after two emergency text messages were received from the same general location. Units checked State Road 10, nearby businesses, a golf course, a baseball field near North White Elementary, and routes toward City Park and other local roads. The situation appears to involve a person with a possible mental health concern and a malfunctioning phone that had water damage and was losing power.
