Grass fire contained on Timber Road in Kirkman

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews from multiple departments responded to a grass fire near the 1400 block of Timber Road in Kirkman. The fire involved dead grass under standing green grass and was later reported as contained. Some responding tankers and brush trucks were canceled or returned to base as the situation improved.
