Apartment fire with smoke reported, now extinguished

Fire crews were sent to an apartment on Gladstone Boulevard after a caller reported smoke coming from the unit and possible people inside. When crews arrived, nothing was visible from the outside of the three-story building, and residents reported that the fire inside the apartment was already out. Firefighters confirmed the fire was extinguished, checked for any remaining hot spots or extension, and used a small amount of water on debris inside the apartment. One fire company remained to handle the situation while other responding units were released. An investigator was requested to review the incident due to multiple tenants in the building.
