So tired of people doing drugs in public. It's very traumatizing to see let alone having to bring someone back from an overdose. All these people & children who have to see people like this is disgusting..I get people have drug issues but do them where people won't see u like that? Even homeless people can go somewhere there's no people around. There is help out there & it's free if they want it. There's no excuses anymore for not getting help other than u don't want it. I'm a former addict & I know until u want it u won't stop. They need to charge people for public intox instead of just narcaning people & letting them go. Make them get help. Maybe once they're in treatment they will see how much better life is & stay clean/sober. If nothing changes they will just get high again & keep overdosing keeping our paramedics busy that could be helping people who want to live. It may sound harsh but u have to give tough love sometimes if u want them to get better.
