On Friday night, past. I was walking past the Polyclinic on 3rd Street Harrisburg Pa. Around 8:15 PM.I tried to get in the front door lobby area for a few minutes of heat. I didn't see who was on Security. But I was cold after only walking from Front Street and Division. Even though I wore thermal clothing. I went inside Family Dollar instead to thaw out. And last night was a lot colder than my experience. In an apprehended emergency. The main door should not be locked so people can at least get in the doorway without having to beg. Especially after the millions of dollars our community puts up to support UPMC. Calling the cops for this was malicious. If it was obvious this person was only trying to survive. I'm assuming he was told to get back out in the cold. Rather than taken to a shelter under Code Blue.
