Resident reports attempted entry at back door

A resident reported hearing someone trying to open the back door about five to ten minutes earlier. When the resident asked who was there, no one answered. The resident and a partner, who have registered firearms, stayed on the property, which is large and very dark, and no hazards were seen outside. The resident also reported that on Christmas Eve a bail bonds worker came onto the property saying they were looking for a fugitive and had a warrant to search, but the person they were seeking was not associated with the resident’s property.
