I'm a firm believer in the second amendment. if more Americans carry a firearm legally to protect themselves and family as well as PROPERLY TRAINED IN CERTAIN DEFENSE I'm certain that there would be less bloodshed than the current state of this nation. The criminal elements are looking for SOFT EASY TARGETS so rust they can intimidate and harm as they please, but they feel that the target can give resistance or cause equal destruction than they would avoid confrontation. Sure there are a few people that shouldn't possess a gun just like there are quite a lot of people who shouldn't ever get behind the wheel in control of vehicles. With proper training and qualified screening we can protect our community against the cowardly criminal elements. Granted there are some that I wouldn't trust with a BUTTER KNIKE in public, but even they can be taught how to use the utensils CORRECTLY. DON'T BE A SOFT TARGET.
