Vehicle hits deer off Highway 2 in Farmington

As discussed during the dispatch call, an officer conducted a traffic stop near the 1100 block of Highway 2 in Farmington for a vehicle that had apparently struck a deer and was off the roadway. The vehicle was reported to be a GMC Acadia, and the officer planned to contact the registered owner.
