Lightning strike sparks small house fire

As discussed during the dispatch call, fire crews in Delaware Township responded to reports of a possible lightning strike at a home near Butternut Street, where smoke and a small fire were seen at the back of the house. The incident was confirmed as an outside fire affecting the rear of the structure, and utility damage to nearby wires and poles was also reported. No one was reported inside the affected vehicle under downed trees.
