As discussed during the dispatch call, an officer contacted a man at Detroit Flats who was reportedly a sex offender with a delta violation and an ignition interlock (IID) requirement. The man was reported to be attempting to drive away in a Land Cruiser-type vehicle, but the officer later advised he was in handcuffs in the back of a patrol vehicle. Medics were requested for a code-1 evaluation, and fire/EMS were asked to confirm the scene was Code 4 before entering.
