Multi-vehicle crash with injuries on West Lexington

As discussed during the dispatch call, emergency responders were sent to the intersection of North Fifth Street and West Lexington Avenue in Danville for a traffic crash involving two vehicles. Radio traffic indicates airbags apparently deployed in both vehicles and smoke was seen from one of them. Several females, including at least one teenager, reportedly had leg, wrist, abdominal, facial, and arm pain, and an additional EMS unit was requested. Fifth Street was blocked while crews worked at the scene.
