Officer finds loose dog near Dalton fire station

As discussed during the dispatch call, officers responded to a report of a loose dog near the Dalton Fire Department. An officer later reported having the dog and attempted to contact the possible owner at a residence on Sunnyvale. Separately, officers spoke with a person who came to the police department lobby and reportedly said he wanted to go to jail and was described as a sex offender.
