Pedestrian struck in the crosswalk at Walnut and Third streets

COSHOCTON − The injury status of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle Nov. 28 is unknown at this time. The incident occurred at approximately 10:10 a.m. at the intersection of Walnut and South Third streets, according to an announcement from the Coshocton County Sheriff's Office. Zachary Noon, 41, of Coshocton, was traveling south on Third Street when he attempted to turn east onto Walnut Street. He struck Timothy Oliver, 45, of Coshocton, who was in the crosswalk, the announcement stated. Oliver was transported for treatment of injuries to Coshocton Regional Medical Center. The Tribune has reached out to the hospital. Assisting on scene were Coshocton County Emergency Medical Services, Coshocton Fire Department and REACT.
