Deputy checks suspicious backpack near Civic Center

As discussed during the dispatch call, an officer was dispatched to investigate a yellow backpack left on the sidewalk near the Collierville Civic Center and Poplar View Parkway. Upon inspection, it was determined to be a city-owned recording instrument attached to a utility box. No threat or suspicious activity was found.
