Stolen car pursuit moves through Chicago’s South Side

As discussed during the dispatch call, police pursued a suspected stolen red vehicle through multiple neighborhoods on Chicago’s South Side. The pursuit reportedly began near 61st Street and traveled along Woodlawn Avenue, Marquette Road, and Cottage Grove Avenue. The vehicle struck at least one other car before continuing through Washington Park. Units later reported the car had mismatched license plates and was a red Honda Accord. The situation was eventually de-escalated when officers stopped pursuing for safety reasons.
